Thanks for your last email. Sorry I haven’t written for a long time, in your last email you ask me for a summary of featured signings.

This is a blog to understand better the world of economy football. My name is Pau and I'm working with my friends Roger, Guillem and Marcos in a project. We have decided to try the theme of football economy. In this blog we will compare the clubs, explain what they can pay for a player. For example, this year, Manchester United bought the player Pogba for one hundred twenty millions of euros, Juventus bought Higuaín for ninety millions of euros but clubs like Borussia Dortmund bought six players with ninety millions of euros.

Anyway, what about you? Which is your favourite signing? Which is your favourite team for sign?

Hi fans of football club Barcelona,

Most of you ask which manager we’re going to choose for the next season. As you may know we are between two managers, Paul Pot and Marcus Bird.

Well, finally we don’t choose either of them, we decide that William Stone is the best coach to represent our club since the way he make the players play and he’s way to motivate the players. We know it’s a risky choice because he has never been in first division, but we’ve studied him deeply to make sure we do the correct decision. Do football players charge too much?

In my opinion in one hand i agree that football players charge a lot of money, but for a clear reason, they are businessmen. They have a lot of sponsors or marks that give them, infinity of money, just to give fame and patrocinate the product that they have created.

Apart from playing or sponsoring some products, they can also have their own business, their own shop like a lot of players like Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo, Pogba and a lot more. When someone get a point of fame is easier for him/her to create a business and make it successfully. 

So now it’s not strange to see football players launching their own business charging big quantities of money, because people will buy their products to resemble them, like a professional.

 But in another hand  what it’s not great to see is when clubs pay millions of euros for a football player,

Cristiano Ronaldo had cost 100 millions.
Paul Pogba had cost 150 millions.
Gareth Bale had cost 85 millions.
Gonzalo Higuaín had cost 90 millions.
PSG wants to pay for messi 400 millions.
Pay that money for a person in my opinion it’s not nice to see.

 My conclusion is: Football players not only are well paid they also have fame and they haves a lot of facilities to create money, for himself or sponsoring products. But there are some players that are overrated charging quantities of money that are not necessary for a football player.

OPINION ESSAY

There are many people doing sport in the world, but lots of those people don’t know the importance of doing sports. I’ll explain some benefits of doing sport which I consider that are the most important and the negative effects.

The main advantage I consider of doing sport is to be healthy and fit. Every kind of sport can keep you fit and doing regularly sport makes you be healthy and it reduced the possibility of having diseases. It also decreases the risks of having high blood pressure, obesity, especially in children, and there is even less possibility of having some types of cancer. I consider another advantage that you relate with other people that play the same sport and it is so fun, especially in team sports where you can also learn to be part of a team.

There are also some disadvantages of doing sport. For example when children play a sport maybe they broke a bone that it is not completely make and the bone can’t grow because it is broken. Depending on the sport you play you can become more aggressive and do not relate with others. A disadvantage of team sports is that if you have a bad manager who is only interested in his own ego and don’t help the people he train.

To sum up I think there are more important the advantages than the disadvantages and I recommend to everybody to play sport.

 Well, Many people think that football players earn too much money, and I agree with that because football players earn millions of dollars. Let’s have a look at FCBarcelona, we know all that it’s a very big club, but people don’t know that just 1% it is of fans, the rest of the money that FCB earn is for sponsors, and many other things.

The sponsors of FCB generate to barça a lot of money, we are talking about 100-150 millions of dollars, and you can think; Why the sponsors pay to barça that money? That’s because barça put their logos on the official T-shirts, and they also put Qatar airways logo on their stadium.  

I like football, but I think that football has changed a lot since football league started. The first football players, play because they love football, and they just had fun playing matches, now football players just play because they win a lot of money, football was a sport now it’s a job.

That’s not actually bad, because people pay for seeing that football matches but in my opinion, I don’t like it because they don’t earn thousands of dollars, they win millions of dollars maybe a teacher, a doctor should earn more than a football player.
